Darleen presents a fun and "spooky" PowerPoint presentation about ancient Egyptian mummies (with photos of real mummies! Kids will love it!) and then provides students with a "fact sheet" that covers all the facts they learned during the presentation.
Then she directs students as they write a 5-paragraph essay and foscuses on the three parts of an essay: Introduction, Body, Conclusion and using the "5Ws & H" as students write the body of their essay.
